The main intention of this piece was to see what I could draw without reference. The context of this drawing is that in my family there is a tradition of wheat weaving, among other craft works, passed down through the generations. I wanted to show this generational connection of the wheat weaving by drawing multiple generations standing behind a sketch of myself holding a wheat weaving.
